Both bulbs on my Stoves cooker hood have failed, been replaced but still not working. Could the light switch that have failed somehow. Is this likely? 3 Answers
The bulbs failed so replaced both with genuine bulbs but neither work in the hood. The fan and controls etc work but not the lights. I have checked the bulb holder contacts and pulled the contact plate up but still not working. There is not much more to go wrong with the bulb holder. I assume that it is likely to be the light switch that has failed somehow. Is this likely?

You will need to check the continuity of connections from the switch to the power connection and through to the lamps and motor. Remember to disconnect first before working on it.
- There are no obvious 'witness marks' where blackening has occurred.

The switch may be OK but the board that the switch is on may have been damaged if the bulb went short circuit. Examine the switch assembly for 'witness marks' where blackening has occurred from damage.
The bulbs and on/off switch in my Neff cooker hood not working. Reading you website believe this could be a fuse. Where is that located please ? 1 Answer

Most cooker hoods are hard-wired so will normally have a fuse in the socket to isolate the power, if yours has a plug it will be inside that.
