I have ordered and received this plate, which fits well, but when I set anything on it, it doesn't turn. Seems the plate is too heavy. Should I order a different plate?
It turns fine when nothing is sitting on the plate, and the microwave has been very lightly used till now so I don't think it's the turning mechanism that is faulty. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi Kathy, a strange problem... if your model number is listed in the 'Fits the following appliances' section, this shouldn't happen. I'd check the roller ring for damage. The roller ring being the smaller circular part with wheels on that sits below the turntable. Best of luck!
