Accidently sucked up small amount water? Bag indicator shows full (due to less suction no doubt ) No apparant electrical short, will cleaner restart if left to dry out totally ??

Motor stopped , no smoke or burning & just stopped ???

    You may be lucky and the motor has just blown the fuse. However if it has a varaible speed control then this may well have been destroyed. Even if left for a long period you cannot know if all traces of water have dried out from inside. We would suggest you dismantle and allow the motor to air dry before reassembling and retesting, If any burnt or blackened areas are found these must be cleaned or the component replaced.
