Fan not shutting off

Hi, The fan that works when either the grill or oven are on,will not shut off.Is there a heat sensing device (or similar ) that is connected to the fan that has gone wrong,as the fan is going like a goodun!!If this is the case do you sell it ,or do i have to purchase the whole fan to solve the problem? Thanks Steve

    Hi there. Between the control knob and the oven fan there is a timer device. This is set to keep the fan spinning for a couple of minutes after you turn off the oven. It sounds very much like this timing device is the part that has failed - it's not switching, or breaking the circuit, and so the fan just keeps on running. Unfortunately I can't point you in the direction of the timer device as this fan fits hundreds of different models of cooker - your best bet is to call 0845 230 6 230 and talk to one of our Parts Experts, armed with your cooker's model number.
