Can this be installed from the top of the built in hob or do you have to remove the hob first?
It looks like it can just be prised out with a screwdriver. Is this the case, or will you have to remove the hob from the work top first?

The 'arrow head' clips on either side will hold this switch to the panel and usually prevent it from being prised out until they have been squeezed.
