I have bought 2x Hinges as per above (Neff Oven). Do I need to release the 'safety catch' first before I replace the hinges or afterwards?

Need to replace the left and right hinges, but not entirely sure whether I need to release the 'safety catch' first or after I have bolted/screwed back in position? PS: the 'safety catch' seems to be locked under the main body of the hinges??!!

    Chris at eSpares says...

At the start of the video it shows these clips locking in place before closing and removing the door. Refit in the locked position and as you open the door the pressure on the lock is removed allowing you to return the clips to the open position.
