Bosch Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser Assembly - I have just replaced the unit (the online tutorial was excellent). But the original problem of the soap dispenser not opening still remains. Any suggestions?

Check the connectors from the dispenser have continuity to the circuit board (Low resistance). If this is correct it would suggest a control board problem.
