Hi Greenspeed, we have a How-To video on fitting a washing machine door hinge in our Advice Centre. You can watch it here: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1209/how-to-replace-a-washing-machine-door-hinge-a.html

  • No, I didn't need anything except large screwdriver to separate door into two bits. After removing screws, door will not fall apart. Use the screwdriver to prise door apart. You'll have a nervous moment or two but go for it - it will come apart will a bit of persuasion. Hinge can then be easily inserted, screws replaced and door rehung onto machine. (Special star screwdriver was required for screws - had similar in a drill bit set) By ntsmaster - N.Ireland - 08 March 2010
  • No seals 5requiredr but check that the parts which hold the new hinge are in good condition. By fzrhunter - london - 20 July 2009
