removal of filter cartridge/carrier
Is there a way you could make a video of the carrier removal for this filter or maybe show all of the pieces laid out for the filter and carrier. I have one and after 1 1/2 hours of wiggling and pulling,twisting(and cursing/throwing tools etc...) can't get the cartridge out. The locking plug comes out but there is a carrier behind the locking plug that just will not come out.

The problem is likely to be due to coins, hair grips or other debris preventing removal. To overcome this remove the whole pump from the machine and disconnect the hoses before shaking the debris out of the pumps pipe work.
