I already have a doorbell button that has 2 wires connected to an old Friedland doorbell that no longer works. Can I connect these existing wires to the Honeywell Livewell White Halo Wired Doorbell ?

If the wires are only connected to the door bell push they can be directly connected to this bell and should work correctly.
