is this battery suitable for a door bell push ?
The battery at present appears to have lost its charge. Have renewed batteries in bell ringer. the battery reads Duracell, alkaline battery, pile alkaline, mn 21/23 12v.

We would expect this to work with door bells, however we would advise you to refer back to the manufacturers manual regarding battery replacement.
