My dyson V6 animal cordless shows blue when put in unit, The light goes out but when we use the hoover it only lasts for about 3 minutes, We have checked for blockages and washed filter. Is this likely to be the battery or the charger?

Check the charger to ensure it is flashing which suggests it should be trying to charge and if it does not it is likely to be the battery.
