I have a DC59 which only operates for around 30 seconds. Blue light flashes 10 times indicating charge required. Charged until light goes out, same thing happens. Is this the battery? Charger output voltage is 26volts

It sounds like the vacuum charger is charging but the battery is not holding the charge so it is more likely to be the battery.
