How long does this charger take to charge a flat battery and does it stop charging when the battery is fully charged

These chargers will normally blink the led to indicate it is charging and once fully charged the led will remain constantly lit. The battery will remain trickle charging while plugged in but we would recommend disconnecting once fully charged.
