Bosch maxx7 door problem, lock not fastened using screws

Hi, having the F16 issue, and need to change the door lock on our washing machine. All videos on the net show how to remove the lock by removing 2 screws, but our model doesn't have any - there are only plastic plugs where the screws normally are. I can't see how to remove the lock, as there is little space between the tumbler and the wall, and worried that just prying it loose with brute force may break something. Thanks in advance!

Push the plastic 'pips' carefully below the surface of the front panel and slide the lock to the inside of the door to allow it to clip out of the front.
