  Vital Item to Waterproof the Switch 27 September 2015

  I had to replace the electric switch on my Flymo mower, the original lock-off button cover had deteriorated and was letting moisture into the switch housing (it was probably the main cause of the switch failing). I purchased a new switch and lock-off button cover. (I would consider fitting a new cover even if it doesn't look damaged when fitting a new switch). The items were genuine parts, I fitted them (having taken a few tips from the eSpares video), the mower was working again in about 20 minutes.
