  Fitting Washing Drum Seal 25 October 2013

  Washing machine required new seal so I looked at video on-line before deciding whether to do it myself. Quality of video was good with clear instructions ,although obviously it was generic in nature. Ordered product which arrived within 24 hours and subsequently fitted to machine the same day.   the item was supplied very quickly, although i felt the updates on the progress of the order could of been better, difficult to fit, but with a time i got it fitted, demonstration video on the site helped a great deal

  Servis Washer Replacement Door Seal 07 August 2009

  This product is good quality and I've now fitted this as a direct replacement for the rubber door seal that originally came with the machine over 9 yrs ago! My machine works perfectly and doesn't need replacing, however, anyone who runs a machine for this long will know the amount of black mould that builds up in the door seal giving bad odours and if washing a heavy load sometimes deposits of the mould transfer to the washing. It's difficult to clean the seal without removing and power-washing! Sourcing a new seal from Servis direct is close to £40 so this is a bargain. Fitting a new seal yourself does take some time, patience and getting your hands/figers in awkward positions, but provides satisfaction when you've done the re-fit and performed a full cycle wash with no leaks! Good luck....
