  Easy fix for noisy tumble dryer 05 July 2017

  Easy fit, no need to remove drum if shaft is intact just loosen back enough so you can prise the old bearings out. Replace with new bearings let it run for a few minutes and then all the noise hopefully will have gone. Espares where very quick delivery as usual

  DIY Friendly Item 12 August 2016

  Reasonably easy to replace this bearing on my Hotpoint TL21 tumble dryer. You may need to replace the little wire holder securing the bearing washer as it tends to break if yours is an old machine. Job done and squeak gone ( for good hopefully )

  Trying to Solve Dryer Noice 24 October 2015

  Purchased this item to try and solve a "bumping" noise with our tumble dryer. I have replaced this part before (back in 2013) so thought the noise was being caused by it being worn again. I also purchased the pads which locate at the front of the drum. Both were very easy to fit and a great opportunity to vacuum out of the fluff inside the machine Unfortunately once fitted the noise was still there! Checked everything else and all appeared fine. Eventually after a lot of head scratching I found the belt layers had started to separate in one small area. Just looking at the belt it was fine but pulling the belt around the small drive shaft on the motor showed up the de-lamination as it went around the tight bend and formed a lump which is what was making the noise.

  No more squealing tumble dryer 23 February 2015

  I fitted this in conjunction with the plastic bearings are the front of the drum. Now my tumble dryer is nearly silent. Fitting this in a Hotpoint TL61 is a 5 minute job, but I half stripped the whole thing down to replace front bearings at the same time, and cleaned all the fluff out of the internal workings so it took a couple of hours. One of the easier DIY fixes, so if you are in doubt, give it a go. Watch the espares videos, and its really not difficult.

  Rear drum bearing 30 January 2015

  Product fitted well after a bit of jiggling. Would have been good if it came with some basic instructions for fitting as it's a bit difficult to watch a video and pull the dryer apart at the same time. Doesn't take very long but you will require a rivet gun for the holding plate.

  Simple to fit 12 April 2013

  Having read other reviews, the bearing was simple to fit, however, you need to take the top off to enable the bearing to be fitted. Worthwhile doing as the dryer is a lot quieter
