  Does the Job - Easy to Fit 01 June 2014

  Overall a great purchase, reasonably priced and fitted relatively easily. The handle was easy to fit, although I found that it was best to use the existing spring rather than the one supplies. This was because I found it difficult to line up all the holes using the new one. The old spring lined up without needing to tension it.

  Door would not open on washing machine when I finally got it open ,I thought I would need the complete kit , but then found out I only needed the handle its self . Watched video on line on how to fit which was extremely useful and made it easy to fit . The handle is good quality and great value for money . Thank you e spares

  good DIY replacement 09 July 2013

  Last time my door catch broke I bought more parts than I needed. This time I looked more carefully and saw that I only needed the plastic handle itself. The video on the website helped, but YouTube had a video of my exact washer which convinced me I could do it. There is nothing substandard with the part - it is fine. If you slam the washer door and the hook is not properly aligned with its slot, you will break the handle. The job is fiddly but these things always are.

  The handle was exactly what I expected and has been a very economical purchase compared to getting a repairman in. Fitting was a bit trickier than expected and not remotely like the video, but straightforward enough once I figured it out. I do recommend the video's suggestion to take a picture first!
