  Why the old hinge broke in the first place I don't know but we put up with it for weeks until I saw the exact hinge I wanted on E spares buying it was easy and fitting it was straight forward ,30 minutes after receiving it the job was finished,excellent

  Saved me a lot of money 15 August 2014

  I almost dumped my washing machine when the door fell off and was on the point of buying a new one when I decided to have a go at replacing the hinge - worth a try. I am a 65 year old female, yet managed to check the compatibility of the part with my machine on your site, ordered it, received it within two working days and fitted it in under half an hour. To be safe, I did take digital photos of the door as I was taking it apart - just in case I forgot where all the bits fitted, though it really only involved unscrewing 6 screws, separating the inner and outer doors, replacing broken parts and securing doors and screws again. Machine now working perfectly. Feeling quite chuffed with myself.

  I fixed the door of my washing machine for a fraction of a price than if I had called a tradesman to do the job! By the way I am not good at DIY at all and still I could do the job easily! What a great idea and website!
