Washing Machine / Tumble Dryer Hinge Bearings 15 August 2010
I replaced both Washing Machine / Tumble Dryer Hinge Bearings as these were damaged when the metal hinge failed. I fitted them as follows:- I unscrewed the three screws on the door, prised the door inner & outer apart with a blunt table knife, removed the plastic Washing Machine / Tumble Dryer Hinge Bearings, slid the Washing Machine / Tumble Dryer Hinge Bearings over the hinge & reassembled the door. Thereby, reattaching the door to the washing machine. I did it this way for ease & to prevent the weight of the door making the securing the hinge to the washing machine more difficult. As each model may vary, you may have to do things slightly differently.

When the door of the tumble dryer was snapped off I had thought ££££ for a replacement. A quick google search hit on eSpare and I found the relevant parts at a fraction of the price a serviceman call-out or replacement tumble dryer. Great site - great Savings.

Saved me from buying a new washing machine! 22 April 2010
£7 well spent ... was about to buy a new machine as the door had fallen off. Easy to identify the right part from the website. Bit of a problem getting the old bits out until we realised the door was in two parts that could be pulled apart! Simlarly unscrewing both holding screws on the door retaining bracket was a mistake as it dropped into the machine ..... luckily my better half realised the top of the machine came off and could just about reach to retrieve the bracket and hold it in place to refit the bracket and fit the door. Needed two of us as he couldn't hold the bracket and the door in place and screw the screws in at the same time!

Quick and easy replacement 16 March 2010
The Washing Machine / Tumble dryer are an essential necessity in our house. The availability of the part ment that the dryer was only out of action for 3 days. Easy to change over, and I must have saved at least £50

If you have a broken hinge on one of these machines you should fit these as well. They are easy to fit and you need to get to them any way to fit the actual hinge.

When I dropped something on the open dry door and broke it off, I though Oh dear, lots of money. Really suprised to find what I needed, for relatively a few pence, and a detailed instructional video on how to fit them when a Google search directed me to espares.
