Simple solution to split dishwasher drain hose 23 August 2020
Solved the problem of the split dishwasher drain hose with the addition of silicon sealer and two pipe clips. The Universal Washing Machine/Dishwasher Drain Hose - 2.5M - item (ES478297) was not required.

Fine - but superfluous 04 August 2015
Bought this after asking your internet helpline, as I needed to extend the drain hose because of moving the machine. Advice was that this is what I needed - only when I received the extension hose (ordered at the same time) it already included this connector! But at least now I have a spare, and it didn't cost much....

Be careful 31 January 2014
I bought a connector to fit 21mm hose AND one to fit 22mm hose but they were both the same and too small to create a seal. I needed to put sealant around both ends and use two jubilee clips to create a waterproof seal. (Zanussi washing machine)

Perfect fit for my LG washing machine, good quality part and easy to fit. Used a couple of hose clips to be sure of a good seal.

A nightmare to fit. This fitting does NOT fit a standard type hose. Significant heating of the pipe was required which stretched the hose and resulted in more leaks. In short - a waste of time and money.

The connector was a very tight fit in the drain hose of my Hotpoint Dishwasher. It was extremely difficult to push the hose far enough onto the connector. Eventually applying heat with a hair dryer did the trick.
