  Replacement fitting for 16 year old Creda cooker 01 October 2018

  The new unit is slightly different design from the original on our cooker and therefore no parts would be interchangeable with the old one, i.e. the new glass screws on, the old glass used a quarter turn thread. However the size of the lamp assembly was the same as original and had the correct spade terminal sizes and locations.

  Simple job 24 January 2018

  Very easy to fit. The original light fitting within its housing had suffered a shorting and consequent burning out of the internal contacts (Hotpoint EW72N cooker). After isolating, the housing needed to be disconnected & removed (2 screws at back of oven) in order to remove the remains of the original light fitting. The replacement simply clicked into the housing. Re-connected, replaced and away she went!

  Light work. 10 November 2017

  Having traced the fault to broken ceramic oven light holder. I knew exactly what to look for by e-spares diagram . Having ordered a replacement fitting was a bit of a faff, as the metal collar was locked in the light holder. Perserverance paid dividends and all went together. Now the oven works again.

  The oven is 10+ years old and needs a glass cover for the bulb, will just fit the bulb and cover.

  The Lamp assembly was fairly easy to fit, the biggest problem was removing the old one, once that was done and connections noted the rest was easy. Good price and arrived promptly THanks

  Not very easy to fit 10 December 2014

  I only needed the glass cover but had to buy the whole light fitting. I found it difficult to get the old light out of the metal case but once I managed this it was easy to fit the new one.

  Solved the problem quickly with oven light 20 November 2014

  We managed the break the glass cover for the light when cleaning. After not being able the directly replace the glass the web adviser pointed us in the right direction to obtain the replacement light unit. Not too expensive so placed the order and it was delivered next day. Excellent service.
