where does this seal attach? ... to the oven-door or the oven itself?

This seal clips into the oven cavity on the oven itself.
My quick measurement of my Smeg A3-6 shows approx 640x360 but you answered a question on here saying that this seal is 574x330. Does it stretch the difference? Thanks

This is listed for a Smeg A3-6. Being of rubber it is important the seal is stretched taught into position so the measurements quoted are likely to have been taken when not stretched.

Hi scampi, this seal does indeed have 6 hooks on it, however it measures approximately 574mm wide and 330mm long - a bit bigger than what you're after.
I can't find a model number for my oven anywhere. The seal that needs replacing fixes with little clips, does this seal have those. Our oven is a free standing range type model which is 90cm wide. Thank you 1 Answer

Is it possible to buy adhesive on its own?
- it has hooks on the seal to hook onto the oven
