We do not have information but think it may 'lock the blade' for either using or storage.
I have a fan oven and would like to know if this can be used to scrape off burnt food from the bottom of the oven.

I wouldn't recommend using this scraper as it might scratch the enamel and this will cause rust to form inside the oven. Take a look at Matt's demonstration in video below of how to properly clean your oven and hopefully this will help.

- Yes but as with all hobs take care when scraping.Take your time and keep the blade flat. Best to use after a rub over with a hob cleaning cream.
