Dyson Vacuum Cleaners

Brush Bar And Soleplate Kit (Clutchless Models)

If your vacuum isn't picking up as well as it used to, it may be time to replace the brushbar and soleplate. This genuine spare is easy to fit and gets great customer reviews.

  • Brushroll: Made of tough ABS plastic with nylon bristles
  • Soleplate: Made of tough ABS plastic, includes fasteners for fitting
  • Includes fasteners for fitting to the Dyson

This is a genuine spare part for select Dyson vacuum cleaners.

Prior to ordering, please check the list of appliances to ensure this is the right part for your particular model.

To ensure that you have a clutchless model, look for a control knob on the front right hand side of your Dyson vacuum.  If your machine has a knob it is a clutched model.  If your machine does not have a knob it is a non-clutched model.

Once again eSpares provided an excellent service with quick delivery, a good price and a handy video showing how to fit the part. I cannot recommend them highly enough when it comes to spares. The Dyson is running beautifully again.

I hadn't realised that the Dyson was not as efficient as it used to be. This new brush and fitment has re-energised it and is well worth the effort. Easy to fit and original equipment, excellent value and quick delivery as usual

  • Q Vacuum hard to push 1 Answer

Could the brush bar brushes be worn causing it to be to heavy to push

On deep pile the cleaner head will draw the brushes to the carpet with the passing air. This machine is automatic adjusting for cleaner head height so no manual adjustment can change this. Make sure your brushes are rotating but replacing them is unlikely to improve the effort needed to use it.

  • Q My Dyson o1 has started to scratch my floors, do you think it could be the brush roller? 1 Answer

Depending on your floors finish it could be marked from grit on the wheels especially if used to clean the car on the driveway. If the wheels seem clean then suspect the brush roll.
