Replaced this item as part of an overhaul on my Dyson and apart from the placement of the belt drive all went well... Fitting this part and the brush was easy but the tension required to loop over the belt proved a difficulty for me and assistance was required from someone with more strength. When job completed the parts worked well and improved the performance of my vacuum cleaner.

Easy to fit the kit, but ensure the front long edge of the soleplate engages correctly with the housing assemble lugs. Fit the brush bar with the with belt roughly in position and then engage the motor spindle drive by stretching the belt with a screwdriver over the drive spindle.
