  • Q is this the brush roll for the DC07 animal with a clutch? 3 Answers

we are looking for a clutch type model brush roll for our DC07

The brush should lightly contact the surface and also 'beat' the carpet to help agitate dirt loose from the carpet fibres.

Does the brush bristles actually touch the carpet as it is spinning.

  • Q How do I change the brusbar on a DC07 All Floors? 2 Answers

Can't remove the brush belt as in Matt's video on changing brushbar which is combined with sole plate. Mine has seperate brushbar and sole plate.

My DC07 allergys belt can't be removed from the motor. I used a pair of long nosed pliers, to open the belt for brush removal. This really is a two handed job but easily done once figured out.

Not easy - You need to lever the belt off the old brush bar and onto the new one - I used a screw driver to do this!!

  • Q Do you have any fitting instructions for this part on the DC07 animal? 1 Answer

I've found the video for replacing the standard DC07, but the animal looks slightly different. Do you have a video, or instructions for this?

some vacuums you can slip the belt off the main motor but on the click I could not get access. To change this item on the dc07 click, I had to get the drive belt off. I did this by lifting the belt off the brushroll (you can get a tool to do this). the brush roll in my case just clicked out from both ends.
