Description

Make sure your carpet is dust and hair free with this replacement brushroll. This brushroll is made of tough ABS plastic with nylon bristles. Just fit it onto the bottom of your vacuum cleaner.

Bought this brush plus a hose and filter. Although the brush assembly isn't as easy to change as the video suggests, if you use two medium sized screwdrivers to raise the belt just enough to slide the brush assembly through, it only takes about 5 minutes to do the job. There is enough stretch in the belt to this without damaging the belt. Dyson's special tool for changing the brush lifts the belt just as using two screwdrivers.

The Dyson Brush assembly as supplied was fine, but it was difficult to fit, it needed a belt lifting tool.

Brush roll assembly was easy to fit and now Dyson cleans up just like when it was new. I can recommend this as a good buy.

Q How do I change the brusbar on a DC07 All Floors? 1 Answer
Can't remove the brush belt as in Matt's video on changing brushbar which is combined with sole plate. Mine has seperate brushbar and sole plate.

  Not easy - You need to lever the belt off the old brush bar and onto the new one - I used a screw driver to do this!!

I've found the video for replacing the standard DC07, but the animal looks slightly different. Do you have a video, or instructions for this?

  some vacuums you can slip the belt off the main motor but on the click I could not get access. To change this item on the dc07 click, I had to get the drive belt off. I did this by lifting the belt off the brushroll (you can get a tool to do this). the brush roll in my case just clicked out from both ends.
