No problem with part. It does what it is designed for. Difficult to fit but that is due to design of mower and is no reflection on the service provided by espares which was good.

Bought cable as per model number - sadly my mower must be an older one again had to use the Heath Robinson technique of cable fitting with great success. Not the fault of espares - speedy delivery and competitively priced
  • Cable is OK, Flymo Quicksilver mower is badly under-engineered

This is the second problem I have had with the rear roller system on this mower which I consider to be grossly under-engineered. Both involved the need to remove and replace the roller assembly which is a tedious task that with good design should be simplified. I will never again buy a roller driven rotary mower from Flymo. The other instance involved the breaking of the height adjuster level mount from the roller assembly. This part was not available separately and would have necessitated the whole roller to be replaced at a high cost. I used my mig welder instead to make this mount as strong as it should have been in the first place. I am not happy with this mower at all. No problem with Briggs and Stratton motor which is fairly bullet-proof, all the problems with Flymo design which is not made to last wasting my investment.
