The plastic bit that attaches to the metal bit of the cooker is not up to the job and they repeatedly break. Every other part of our £2000 cooker is made of steel eccept for the bit that takes the pressure when you turn the knob. Is this a built in design flaw?
- i agree - the knobs that came with my cooker have all broken. I ordered two new ones from e spares last year and am now having to order another 5 to replace the whole set within 4 years. We'll see how the replacemnet knobs perform.

We've not had any mention of this problem before, it may be worth speaking to your manufacturer if it is a regular occurence. They may have a solution. If you could provide us with your model number we could check if there are any other knobs asides from this one.

No this is a plastic knob finished with chrome paint. Hope this helps.
