    To change the lock on the above model it is necessary to completely remove the outer door panel before the fascia can be removed. This is because there is little or no slack in the wiring on the RH side. Also note that the screws to the door panel are a different size to those on the fascia, so don't get them mixed up.

      There are three varients of lock fitted. This one, Stock Number: ES1329676 and Stock Number: ES1635188. Check wich matches your lock.

      Confirm that the lock is being changed when the door is opening. If the lock and catch are OK the problem is likely to be the module. This would need to be programmed by an engineer so check out Repaircare for a fixed price repair if this is required.

      New spade connectors and there insulators are available from many car accessory suppliers. It is good to replace the connectors as they may be weakened due to heat exposure.
