  • Q just replaced door catch on my indesit dishwasher dif04 but machine continues to run when door is opened during cycle 1 Answer

    By Gordon - dorset - 15 September 2014

Confirm that the lock is being changed when the door is opening. If the lock and catch are OK the problem is likely to be the module. This would need to be programmed by an engineer so check out Repaircare for a fixed price repair if this is required.

  • Q The plastic casing on the wires from the switch that attach to this mechanism is burnt on my dishwasher, can I replace this part? 1 Answer

New spade connectors and there insulators are available from many car accessory suppliers. It is good to replace the connectors as they may be weakened due to heat exposure.
