Straight forward to install having watched the video. The only information not covered was the fact that Hotpoint do not put the full model number on the outside of the machine. You have to check the paper label on the side of the door to discover the Suffix letter for the correct part. ... and of course your dishwasher maybe filthy inside the door panel unlike the clean video model !

  • Q just replaced door catch on my indesit dishwasher dif04 but machine continues to run when door is opened during cycle 1 Answer

Confirm that the lock is being changed when the door is opening. If the lock and catch are OK the problem is likely to be the module. This would need to be programmed by an engineer so check out Repaircare for a fixed price repair if this is required.

New spade connectors and there insulators are available from many car accessory suppliers. It is good to replace the connectors as they may be weakened due to heat exposure.
