Very pleased, installation very quick once we managed to fish out the broken bits of the old catch!

We bought this in the hope we wouldn't have to buy a new rumble dryer. It is super easy to install (just take out one screw and pop out the old one and pop in the new one!). Our make is an ISO600V. Highly recommend this if your latch has broken. May need to purchase the interlock as well though if the whole thing is broken. Supremely chuffed!

It sounds like the door lock is faulty or stuck closed because this catch is broken. If the 'loop' on this part is broken then the lock is in the closed position. Replace this part and carefully use a small screwdriver to prise the broken 'bar' from the latch plate out of the lock to leave the catch in the open position. If you cannot do this with out damaging the lock replace the lock as well.

The door lock is likely to be in the closed position holding the broken bar from the old latch. As the door opens normally the cross bar at the end of the loop on the catch is pulled out of the lock leaving the 'claw' in the open position. carefully try to open the claw using a small screwdriver. If you cannot do this you will need to replace the lock.
