Tricky to remove and refit but if you take your time and be careful with your hands(sharp edges) quite straight forward. Good luck!

Fixed the problem, although to ensure there is no issues fitting this device remove dish washer turn upside down and remove bottom panel. Be warned when trying to fit it from the front there are some sharp edges to the metal work and you can damage other components, pipes!

Very fiddly to fit - be ready for lots of scrapes and scratches if you've big hands and arms in order to get this fitted. However, it did take care of our 4 beep/light flash error with our Diplomat washer. So all in all very happy with the purchase as our dishwasher, hopefully, will last some time longer.

Hi Asheldon, I'm afraid without seeing your appliance it'd be impossible for me to say what was causing this problem. My advice would be to seek a repair man.

  • Q 11 flashes seen - is this the "optical water indicator" I need to replace to fix this? 1 Answer

Dishwasher is IKEA DWFB10W. Have already tried washing out the sump without success.

If your machine is taking in water to fill and coming up with this error then it could be a optical sensor problem depending on who manufactured the appliance (as opposed to who's badge is on it). For additional fault information see our video:

  • Q The flash code above the start button on my ADP 4500 flashes 11 times what do I need to look at and replace 1 Answer

The dishwasher fills and empties several times before it kicks in and starts a full cycle, it is fine after it starts it does the full cycle without any problems

11 flashes indicates a 'optical water' sensor problem, This is sometimes referred to as a turbidity sensor and flushes the machine till it thinks the water is clean to start. If coffee or tea is spilt into the sump or you have not been rinsing the food off the plates this may be the cause. Try using a dishwasher cleaner like Stock Number: ES1566874

  • Q dishwasher filling with water but not initiating delivery to spray arms 1 Answer

dishwasher is filling with water and emptying. opening of powder compartment is functioning but spray arms are not working. spray arms are clean and not blocked does the salt dispenser have a water level sensor?? or could it be the circulation pump??

This does sound like a circulation pump problem. Some times if the motor is seized there will be an associated hum as the motor is powered. If the filling water is stopped by the machine then the wash motor should be being powered and it is not likely to be a filling problem.
