The handle has been very poorly designed. The largest part of the stress is placed on the weakest part of the handle. The simple answer would have been to have moulded a piece of thin steel into the handle problem sorted. But then you would not make money by selling dodgy handles.

I have replaced this handle 4 times in 10 years - and while it is very easy to fit , one has to wonder why Beko designed a lever door handle which takes most of the leverage strain on the weakest part of the structure i.e. the plastic hand grip - all the previous 3 failed at exactly the same place. The metal part of the lever should be extended further into the plastic hand grip in order to strengthen it.

Hi there, replacing the handle isn't too difficult to do. It's held on to the door by screws; simply unscrew and replace.
