Description

Looking to eliminate limescale buildup at its source? The Neocal Anti-Limescale Device attaches to the fill hose of your washing machine or dishwasher to stop limescale from forming. Reduces the need for chemical descalers, makes your appliance more efficient, and prolongs its lifespan. This device provides a softer touch for your laundry, and a brilliant clean for your crockery.

The Neocal Anti-Limescale Device contains permanent neodymium magnets which create a powerful magnetic field. This breaks calcium carbonate crystals down into aragonite, which is then easily dispersed in the discharged water. Ecologically friendly.

5 year life span.

How to fit the limescale device:

Screw the device directly onto the tap and attach the fill hose of the appliance, ensuring a clean connection in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. Do not force the device onto the water connection, to avoid any leakage.

I am still in the process of determining whether this unit works, for my water supply. It cannot entirely 'soften' the water but the washing has been far less 'crispy' without the use of softening tablets. Any improvement at the cost of the unit has to be good!

I'm always keen to save money where I can... been using espares for a while to keep items on the road rather than replace, however was looking at ways to make a necessary function cheaper.. the washing... OK cheaper powders, softner and washing on a lower temp have all helped but what about that advert... "washing machines always last longer with C@!$*#".... well I reckon time you've paid for a tablet every wash you would have spent the same price of a new washing machine once the warranty had run out... so that's a waste... so what else could I do to extend the life of my machine? which is where I thought I'd try the Neocal Anti-Limescale device... nice piece of hardware... good weight to it if you know what I mean... fitted easy in line on the hot water line, even had spare washers!!! I've not given it the full 5 stars for Value as that has yet to be worked out and I think maybe you might need another device for the cold water line as well and that would make this a fairly expensive mod, maybe. In my opinion, worth getting, probably worth getting more than one - for dishwasher etc

brought this for my mums washing machine and dishwasher very easy to fit instructions were simple to follow got 5 years on the product well lets hope it can last longer than five years most washing machines dont last five years on usage it was well worth the money i live in a very hard water area limescale can be a problem in my area as it shows on the washing machine door so by installing this it will totally eradicate it was well worth the buy good value for money and will save hundreds on washing machine repairs and bills and will cut down on the energy used to heat the water

  Easy answer is yes. Plumbing it in maybe a little more difficult as it is designed to be plumbed into a washing machine or dishwaher hose conection.

Q Universal Fitting 1 Answer
Is this a universal fitting ? There was one review that said there is a washer needed or it will leak? can this be confirmed if so what washer would I need.

  This fits the usual washing machine or dishwasher water input pipe. The two washers provided work well and both may not be needed depending on the hose conection. I have fitted two of these both by hand only and neither have leaked.

Q Can the neocal anti limescale device be attached directly to the appliance rather than the tap? It would then be reversed in line. Is this OK. 1 Answer

  No the device is designed to be attached to the tap, and the appliance is then attached to the other way. This means that the limescale is broken down before the water enters your appliance.
