Bought this to replace original filter for Electrolux Cooker Hood. Very easy to cut to size and I managed to get 4 (!) fitting filters out of this one product! What more do you want!

  • Q Can I use this instead of buying the new charcoal filter APL2900 for my Hygena cooker hood model APP2500. 2 Answers

I purchased 2 of these universal carbon filters from you but I do not see how they fit into the charcoal filter box given it is all squared off etc. If it is possible pls let me know how to fit your product. many thx

Please contact our sales department and confirm your model number as you have provided two different model numbers. This carbon filter is also not made to fit in a carbon box so it's possible you may have ordered the wrong part.

  • Q Do I need a grease filter and a carbon filter for my externally filtered hood 1 Answer

    By knoxville - 03 March 2011

    • A
Hi knoxville, if there's both types of filter in your hood currently, then you'll need them both. If not, you won't need both a grease and a carbon. The grease filters main job is to remove grease, and the carbon filters main job is to filter odours.

  • Q is this product used to replace any part of the cooker hood filter ES1029647 for Hygena APP2420 or do i need to replace the whole thing? I can't see that anything is replaceable! 1 Answer

    By lin - swindon - 12 October 2010

    • A
No, ES1029647 is a part in it's own right. These universal filters are replacements for cooker hood filters which use a thin carbon filter that sits on top of a grease filter.

Unfortunately we cannot get the model specific filters for your appliance. This is possibly due to the age of your appliance as it was recently purchased.
