  Tried to fit this very very difficult wouldnt recommend it - had to buy new fridge freezer so wasted my money

  Finally got the seal fitted to the Candy Fridge freezer. the door panel was glued in place so I had to pry up the edges to get the seal fitted - this took over an hour. The tiny seal lip that goes under the door panel was hard plastic so it was tricky to get in under the door panel. Pretty happy overall and all's well that ends well. Another fridge saved from the landfill!!!

  I am not a good D-I-Y-er, so I watched the video, bought the silicone lubricant, and had the hair dryer handy - but I'm afraid that I wasn't competent enough to fit this product. Absolutely nothing wrong with the seal itself - and it arrived quickly - but next time I would get in a handyman to fit it.

• Q how do i remove old door seal? 1 Answer

  Just received replacement seal for Candy fridge as ordered. Have viewed article recommended to previous customer (wiki...) but it sheds no light as to how to remove inner door panel and seal. the article refers to screws but I can see none on my model? Any ideas?
