My Dad Is 90 years old and His is oven packed up after looking at the element you could see the element had blown . I said I would look at Espares as i had used them before just keyed in Beco cooker and the model number and there it was and there was the part. A quick well packaged item ,but the twist to the story is mean while whilst i was looking for the spare part He had gone to one of the large retail cooker sellers to look at a New cooker and it was only that they where going charge him for delivery and take his old one away He decided against it ,Saving Himself the price of a New cooker. The part came the next day and it took five minutes to change over and it is running Like new . Thanks Espares

  • Q IRequire element for my 2013 Leisure dual fuel cooker, modelCMCF 96X.To fit Tall fan oven. Old element is a 240v 2100W rating. On Espares web site, I am directed to compatible product ES555487. This element is only 1800W. Is this a problem? 1 Answer

This is the correct element for your oven The manual may be adding the fan and lamp current as well in the specifications.

  • Q Element wattage 1 Answer

The wattage on the replacement element fitted by an independent appliance engineer is 2400 and only has 2 connectors (the earth has been disconnected) Will this element just be slower to heat up? Can I just reconnect the earth??

If your original was 1800 watt but the replacement is 2400 then it will heat up quicker. It is not necessary to reconnect the earth to this element as it will be earthed through the chassis of the cooker.

  • Q Does this come with fixings 1 Answer

I had to damage the fixings to remove the faulty element so will need new fixing screws. I ordered this before removing the faulty element and had planned to use the existing fixings.

Elements are supplied without fixing screws. Suitable screws can usually be supplied by car spares or DIY stores.
