If the mower is dead check cable fuse plug and switch. If these are O K suspect the motor.

I can see 2 screws on the underside, but they are underneath the plastic disc that the blade gets attached to. Thanks.

Hi Chuckj, you must remove the impeller and blade to fit a new motor. You've got to get right in to the middle of the mower!
Mower ID plate is product no. 0633858-01 S/n 04600057 The picture of the motor is very similar to the one installed
