Having read the various reports, I used the old belt to stretch the new belt into position. No problem.

I bought this belt x 2 to replace one that had snapped/melted on my daughters dyson dc14. The roller had become clogged at the end inside were the shaft is situated. It mean't taking the roller end off to clean out the debris. I slipped the belt over the brush and attached the belt onto the motor splindle with a screwdriver. The ordering and service and delivery where all first class from Espares. I cleaned all filters and the suction is like new again. Now have spare belt just in case.

  • Q What belts are included in this pack? 2 Answers

I'm after a belt to fit from the clutch to the brush belt. I understand this is different from the motor to clutch belt so I was wondering which belts are included?

There is only one belt on a dyson vac so if you buy the 2 in a pack set you will always have a spare

I find it easier to use a piece of strong thick string to pull the belt back and over, use thick string because thin stuff can cut the belt..

With difficulty, a tapered handled screwdriver and a resolve to fix it even though my eighty some years old fingers didn't enjoy the process.

Hi Sandi, this is a pack of 2 drive, or motor, belts. The clutch belt is this one: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/dyson/dc07-all-floors/p/1086/716/6/420506/188716/vacuum-cleaner-clutch-bel.html?ms=902514-01

Hi Treena, there is many upright Dyson vacuum models. If you quote me your model's specific model number, I'd be happy to try and find the instruction manual for it.
