I'm after a belt to fit from the clutch to the brush belt. I understand this is different from the motor to clutch belt so I was wondering which belts are included?

  • I find it easier to use a piece of strong thick string to pull the belt back and over, use thick string because thin stuff can cut the belt.. By Daveyboy - Norfolk - 16 June 2013

There is a clutch 'knob' on the left of the base that when lifted to the park position rotates and stops the brushes. If this is in the off position the brushes do not engage when lowered. If this knob turns correctly then the clutch belt may have failed from the motor to the clutch unit.

You do not generally need any special tools to replace the belt. To dismantle the machine the only special tool needed is a long torx screwdriver like in this kit Stock Number: ES1251179
