The normal head from my Vax Mach 1 does not pick up hairs off a short pile carpet very well so I replaced filters and bought the turbo brush. It works great but after only 2 uses all tangled with longhair - 3 people in house have long hair and no pets. I could only see way of cleaning as to cut hairs off and pull out which took 10 minutes. Is there any other way to remove long hair?

WE are sorry but that is likely to be the best way. Dyson have Stock Number: ES1610425 but this may not fit your cleaner.
Mine seems to be stuck and cannot take it off the pick up pieces of wool etc

Try pouring hot water over the joint area as this will soften plastics and may allow them to expand and loosen. Or use a penetrating fluid like Stock Number: ES1526164
