    Tumble Dryer Drive Belt

Fitted perfectly - bit of a fiddle to get it on round all the bearings and fan drive - but worth it to get more life from our dryer for a reasonable cost and an hours effort

    Great service from eSpares

Belt arrived in about 5 days, tricky to fit, but made a whole lot easier with the aid of the eSpares video on youtube. Not sure I would have managed without the video, so saved me a lot of money calling in the repair man, or replacing the dryer. So great service all round, would definitely recommend eSpares.

    Did the trick

Fitted fairly simply once the rear panel/bearing was removed. Didn't initially make note of which side of belt tensioner was on so belt was slack at first but once tensioner correctly positioned belt OK. Does the job fine. Wider than original belt so should be less likely to slip

On this model a spring pulls the motor to apply tension to the belt. Take the spring off and return the motor fully round away from the spring to fit the belt on the correct side of the pulley. When the spring is refitted it will move the motor and tension the pulley.

Belts round the drum but where does it go on the wheels ?

The hinges should be easy enough to replace. First lock the hinges and remove the door from the cooker, Then split the door by removing the front from the back and you will then be able to access the hinges to replace them.

  • You may be able to alter the position of the tension wheel spring. I had to do this to take up the slack, bit fiddely but worked fine Paul By Paul - Wilts - 02 April 2012
