Item was exactly as described and fitted the model of machine as stated. Item appears to be of good quality and although it was difficult to fit, I think that this was a function of the problem, my lack of experience and where the item had to be fitted to, rather than the spare part itself.

Hi, I fitted one to a hoover nextra HNF7148-80. I required a 7mm spanner and socket, a screw driver to leaver the front retaining ring off and some washing up liquid to lubricate the inner door seal to help fitting. (well worth doing) Regards and good luck

Strength, patience, a couple of small adjustable spanners and a flat head screwdriver. Best of luck - the online video is very helpful but it is not a 5 minute job.

      Hi

Variations occur on different machines of course but the above video should be a good start for the basics.

  • Q I have a Hoover Optima washing machine - just under 2 years old. It is leaking from the front inside - the water coming down inside the concrete weight. It leaks when water is added to the drum by hand (jugfuls). The water pump connections are all dry. Th 1 Answer
