  • Very easy - 1. Take old hinge off dryer (save two screws). 2. Undo all the screws inside the door. 3. Prize door apart where the hinge goes (just enough to get out the square plastic bushes the hinge spikes fit into). 4.Fit new hinge onto door. 5. Screw the door back on dryer. • 1 Undo all the screws inside the door. 2. Seperate door inner and outer shells - not completetly, just at the back where the hinge goes (use a screwdriver). 3. Remove the square plastic lugs that the hinge spikes fits into. (You need them out to fit onto new hinge). 4. Push the busted bit of old hinge out with anything long & thin - cocktail stick, nail, etc. By badbob - Derbyshire Peaks - 07 March 2010

Retrieve the fixing plate from under the machine. Remove either the top or the door seal from the front to allow you to hold the plate in position when you screw the door back to the cabinet.
