The filter is a genuine Whirlpool component, supplied with instruction for fitting which are easy to understand.
You may need a pair of pliers to install, it is not the easiest of jobs to accurately locate the filter in position and then firmly rotate and lock in place. Use pliers to rotate, fingers may not be strong enough.
Press and hold the menu button for a few seconds and it resets the indicator to 99% - will n ot do it on its own -still registers 0.1% even with new fiklter in!

Hi Dave1
We at eSpares are not trained to give technical advice. Your best bet is to talk to your local Whirlpool or fridge specialist (or ask a friend or relative!) and they should be able to help you.
QIs there a reset button as filter indicator still flashing -01%1 Answer
I have fitted the new filter and yes it was easy enough to fit. The F01% is still flashing and it should be showing f99% as it should be at maximum. Is there a reset button I should be pressing? tHANKS

Had the same problem - press and hold the menu button and it resets the indictaor to 99% - doesn't do it on its own!
