This vacuum cleaner head fits perfectly and the cleaner now has a new lease of life. The head slides well over carpets and wood floors and has the advantage of being slightly larger than the original head.

This piece of kit has a astrong professional look and feel to it. My old one was a Vax tool no where near as strong and broke after a few months. This one fixes on easily, feels positive and cleans well for not alot of money. Good quality, I rate it highly. Should be great....time will tell!

A vacuum returned from a student flat, reported by my daughter as broken and fit to throw away. Found the replacement floor tool very easily and it was good quality and simple to fit. So once we had emptied 3 years of dust, it was good as new.

The biggest cause of the problem is the suction sticking the head to the carpet. By using a Turbo type tool this will reduce the problem. Search Universal Turbo Floor Tool for alternatives.

The metal base of the tool will allow it to easily glide over carpets. However if your cleaner has a powerful suction this then makes moving the tool a lot harder. Most vacuum hoses have a adjustable air inlet by the handle. By opening this you can reduce the suction and make the tool easier to manoeuvre. Wheels tend just to hold the tool away from the surface.
