eSpares Top Tip: If your cooker's control knobs have been melting, this may be a problem with heat escaping from your oven. Check your main oven door seal, hinge, and glass for any damage or wear and tear.

I purchased new knobs for my cooker, as the original one had melted and cracked, I wish I'd have got them years ago as they look great. The delivery was fast and efficient and I'm extremely satisfied

Exact product as required and fit for purpose. Easy to fit. Phoned for advice prior to purchase for correct product - extremely helpful and efficient staff to make sure I would get the right product as couldn't find it on-line. Will use Espares yet again as done before. Thankyou.

  • Q Do these melt after a few months of use? 2 Answers

I have found the fan on the back of the cooker blocked up. This fan helps to deflect heat from the knobs so clean the fan before replacing the knobs to prevent new knob melting.

These knobs should not melt but there are a couple customers who have advised that the chrome flakes off after a couple months and should be of better quality for a genuine replacement

  • Q Do you sell just the silver parts? 1 Answer

I have all the black parts but a few of the silver bits have snapped off due to children, pets etc and I've had to put some white ones I've found in - it looks terrible!

  • Q Could you advise me on my cooker, please? 1 Answer

It is a Stoves Newhome EC 600. The 2 rings I use most stay on a high temperature I can't control it . would appreciate your advice.

It is likely that you require to replace both the controls for the faulty rings.
