Managed to fit myself, not quite as simple as the video but my door was slightly different. All done though and a lot cheaper than if I'd called someone out. Will use again for simple looking jobs.
QI except you have to split the door to fit the hinge. Do I need any parts that fit inside the door.Eg seals ect3 Answers

No, I didn't need anything except large screwdriver to separate door into two bits. After removing screws, door will not fall apart. Use the screwdriver to prise door apart. You'll have a nervous moment or two but go for it - it will come apart will a bit of persuasion. Hinge can then be easily inserted, screws replaced and door rehung onto machine. (Special star screwdriver was required for screws - had similar in a drill bit set)

No seals 5requiredr but check that the parts which hold the new hinge are in good condition.

door came away in my hand as the hinge literally sheered off - part is left on the door - main hinge on the machine. if I order a new one - will it fit in the door OK or do I need the door as well? Also could yu let me know the right one to buy as I can't see it on the list?

the same thing happened to me, i bought this hinge - I identified the one i needed from the pics on the site, but you will probably need the part that goes inside the door as well. I only found this out when trying to fit the hinge so am back on the site looking for the part.
QMy door hinge and has broken as has what it connects to in the door. Does this hinge come with both parts?1 Answer
