Since replacing the damaged filter for a new one the dishwasher has cleaned cutlery and crockery much more efficiently. No complaints at all.

Easy to fit - came when expected however although the main filter is fine, the filter cap doesn't clip on properly as one would expect and remains precariously loose. The dishwasher seems to be working ok however , but I plan to superglue the filter cap on anyway!

  • Q Door locking mechanism? 1 Answer

The door on our dishwasher no longer locks, the catch appears to be stuck 'upright'. We have removed the panel to have a look and hope you can point us in the right direction for what parts may be required! Thanks.

  • Q Is the Light Grey Dishwasher filter right for my machine? 1 Answer

I have an AEG Favorit 54750 VI. I recently bought this filter from a local spares shop, but it wouldn't 'lock' into place - it just kept rotating. It was different in appearance to the original (not as"thick" in the middle). The photo of your filter looks the same as the one I bought, do you think I will have the same problem?

Hi Vali3, This part is a genuine AEG spare. It's manufacturer reference number is: 1118754108. I've never had complaints about this filter not fitting models that are listed in our "Models This Part Fits" section. If you do go ahead and order it and it doesn't fit it's pretty easy to return items purchased from eSpares. Here is a link to our full returns policy that includes a guide on how to return items: http://www.espares.co.uk/returnsandrefunds.aspx
