The quality and value was fine. The lack of fitting instructions was a negative and could easily have led to the wrong removal and refitting process being used or the wrong screws being removed causing further problems.

This was the first time I had replaced an element. The new one was identical to the old, which was in the toaster purchased 22 years ago. I found instructions for fitting the element on the Internet. It was a simple task, and the toaster now works just like new.
